Date of Initiation

The Department of Political Science is a part of the glorious heritage of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith. The Political Science Department of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith started initially with the General Course of Study at the UG level. The Honours course in Political Science has been introduced at the UG level in 1994-1995. At present, the Department has three permanent teachers against three sanctioned post and two SACT teachers. They offer their best for over-all enrichment of academic ambiance of the Department.
